'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' or simply 'Rogue One' is rumored to be previewed in the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens premiere. While speculations on possible post-credits scene float around, screenwriter Chris Weitz talks about working on the 'Rogue One.'

According to Cinema Blend, the Star Wars universe may follow what have become the "standard practice for superhero films" most especially Disney produced: the post credits scene. Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens is set to feature the 'Rogue One.' If speculations be true, then this is something new for the franchise and will surely add up to the already crazy hype around Star Wars movies.

Fans are curious as to how this will also possibly play out. Given that post-credits scenes "tease future installments, further adventures" in the same universe, 'Rogue One' would be tough to place since it was set in the past between 'Revenge of the Sith' and 'A New Hope.'

In an interview with Coming Soon, 'Rogue One' screenwriter Chris Weitz said being part of the 'Star Wars' franchise was his "big dream" since age 7. The interview also said that a few years back, another "Star Wars" movie didn't seem to be in plans but now sequels and spin-offs are being made one after the other.

The Star Wars force has returned strong as ever and is boosting the economy the United Kingdom. According to Quartz, 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' alone has already lifted the economy by £150 million ($231 million), and that's with the movie still unreleased.

Understandably, Star Wars franchise filming in the UK is a big economy factor through the "creation of hundreds of jobs, hiring of equipment and studios." 'Rogue One' and the untitled Episode VIII are also set to film in the UK.

The Star Wars franchise is a giant, not only in creative aspects and audience reach. Over the years it has symbolized financial success, and has been an iconic universe for many. The UK has even celebrated the film, with a set of 18 first-class stamps, where Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Princess Leia featured.

With all this fanfare, 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' is in very good position in publicity. A preview of Chris Weirtz-written 'Rogue One' during the Star Wars: Force Awakens will drive fans in a new whirlwind of hype.
