iPad Air 3 Rumors: Larger Screen, More Powerful Processor; Release Date in October?

By

Apple's next-generation tablet, iPad Air 3, is expected to be released this year. Rumor has it that it will be unveiled in October, a month after the tech giant announced the iPad Pro. Its predecessor, iPad Air 2, was revealed in October last year, thus, there is a possibility that the next version will follow through next month.

Apple allegedly delayed the release of iPad Air 3 to make way for the iPad Pro. However, there are no official announcements from the Cupertino-based tech giant about the matter yet. The iPad Air 3's key features include A9 chipset, 3GB of RAM for faultless experience, 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and 2K resolution with remarkable 3D display, 400ppi.

After the announcement of the new mobile operating system, iOS 9, iPad Air 3 will definitely be integrated with a more powerful processor. This new iOS supports split screen and other innovative features and increases the battery life of the device. A larger screen with higher resolution also features the iPad Air 3. Since the iPad Air 2 did not change its screen size, the chance of seeing a bigger tablet is high.

Camera wise, the iPad Air 3 is expected to boost its megapixel. From 8-megapixel rear camera of the iPad Air 2, it is possible that the next version will have 13 megapixels. However, the megapixel count for its front snapper is still unsure if it will be improved from 5 megapixels to a higher count.

The price for the iPad Air 3 is not yet confirmed. It might be more or less same as that of its predecessor. But if there are a lot of advanced features added to it, the price may go a bit higher. The new tablet is also said to come with different storage capacity, which prices may vary.

Apple users and spectators have to wait for the official announcements about the iPad Air 3. All rumors might be answered next month, so better watch out for it!
