'Resident Evil: The Final Chapter' actress Milla Jovovich shares the first images of her character for the alleged last and final film in the zombie series. Stuntwoman Olivia Jackson is left severely injured after a motorbike accident during filming a high-speed chase scene near Johannesburg.
According to Super Hero Hype, Jovovich posted a photograph of herself doing a makeup test for her main protagonist Alice. It served as the audience's first look at her character on-set. Jovovich is well known for taking to her own personal social media accounts to promote her upcoming films and current projects.
Jovovich rejoins the cast to fight off the menacing Umbrella Corporation, according to Den of Geek. She will star alongside Ali Larter's Claire Redfield, Bingbing Li's Ada, Wentworth Miller's Chris Redfield, Sienna Guillory's Jill Valentine and Johann Urb's Leon S. Kennedy. The cast and crew are currently in production and shooting on-location in South Africa.
According to another article by Deadline, an accident occurred on the set of 'Resident Evil: The Final Chapter' during the filming of a high-speed motorbike stunt in Johannesburg. Olivia Jackson, an experienced stuntwoman, had been placed in a coma with sustained head injuries and a punctured lung. It was reported that she was in full speed maneuvering her bike when she crashed into some camera equipment.
Jackson worked with several high profile films including 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens', 'Guardians Of The Galaxy', 'Mad Max: Fury Road' and 'The Avengers: Age Of Ultron'. She is currently under medical care and is now reported in stable condition.
'Resident Evil: The Final Chapter' is set to be released on September 2, 2016 under the direction of Paul W.S. Anderson. It is the sixth installment of the highly grossing 'Resident Evil' film series that earned a combined $915 million globally. Principal photography has begun in South Africa.
