Fallout 4 Updates: Microsoft says fan involvement in development important; DLC release set for next year

By

As some may already know, Fallout 4 is noted as one of this year's biggest and most awaited games. Many announcements have been made regarding Bethesda's power title, and these guarantee that fans have a lot to look forward to.

According to Tom's Hardware, Xbox One gamers will feel very much the benefits of Fallout 4's downloadable contents. The confirmed news was made mid-summer and as the said announcement is highly important, gamers will be more involved from that point forward; seeing just how much power an avid fan can dish out for a game's development.

As reported by Examiner, Microsoft's Kudo Tsunoda states just how productive this said addition is. He was quoted saying, "That's a really fun part of gaming. The more that you can get your fans and community involved in helping to shape and build a product, I think that's a very positive thing - not only from a modding perspective but also in thinking through ways that we can get fans integrated into the development process of our titles much earlier on."

It proves to be such a great deal whenever developers actually permit the involvement of gamers in their creation. Presumably, this can be a reason as to why betas come more often, and does great for stress-testing game technology, at the same time, allowing players to get a glimpse of how the game will turn out.

DLC's are a vital part of a game's progression, as reported by Parent Herald. It was recently declared that there will indeed be downloadable content, most likely next year, but still without a definition as to what the particular downloadable content will be.

Tsunoda declared that game development starts as soon as the fans see bits and pieces of the game. That way, they become familiar with what the fans want to change, or see something that they do not. Previous, footages and most importantly, test runs of the game become very vital when it comes to these matters of in-game improvement.
