By

Galaxy Mega On is set to be unveiled by the end of the year by Samsung. It is expected to be one of the affordable Android phablets from the South Korean tech company.

Not long ago, Samsung Galaxy Mega On was reported to be imported in India, which might be one of the countries where this phablet will be launched to. There are no confirmations yet about this new device. However, a lot of speculations are already circulating around the Internet, which is normal for every device that is about to be revealed soon.

The actual specifications for the Samsung Galaxy Mega On include a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm's Snapdragon 412 processor, 1GB of RAM, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system, and 8GB of internal memory expandable up to 64GB via microSD card slot. The phablet might sport a large 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD 720 pixel resolution, 3000 mAh battery, and dual-sim support. Samsung's latest phablet might also feature a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash, and video recording, as well as a 5-megapixel front snapper.

As reported, the latest phablet has been spotted in Geekbench 3's benchmark test. The Samsung Galaxy Mega On scored 460 points in the single-core test, while in the multi-core test, it got 1367 points. According to the test results, the phablet is powered by MSM8916, or the Snapdragon 410, but some says it could also be the Snapdragon 412.

Due to the benchmark test conclusions, the Samsung Galaxy Mega On now appears to be a mid-range phablet. The leaked specifications and features hint that it won't break the bank. In addition, media outlets believe that it is produced for those users who have a tight budget, but want themselves a decent large-sized mobile phone.

Unfortunately, there are no concrete information about the availability and pricing of Samsung Galaxy Mega On yet. Nevertheless, Samsung will definitely give its official announcement regarding the matter in the coming days.
