'Man of Steel 2' Movie: Rumored to feature Brainiac, Bizzaro and Supergirl; Superman movie not on permanent hold

By

Last month, an alleged speculation hit up that Warner Bros has set the "Man of Steel" sequel on ambiguous hold, following a rumor that the studio was hiring George Miller to helm. However, it was recently reported that the project is not being delayed and Miller insisted that "Man of Steel 2" will be under his hands if he wants to take control.

As of right now, Warner Bros has not officially announced a release date for the sequel yet. But, SlashFilm reported that it would possibly happen in 2019 or sometime around 2020. So in actuality, the movie has a lot more years to wait until its official release.

Another report about the future movie has been heating up the day. According to the report from Heroic Hollywood, the superhero sequel will feature three other characters. Two of them are villains, Bizarro and Brainiac, and Kara Zor-El also known as Supergirl. Zack Snyder hinted that Brainiac is his favorite Superman villain and he hoped that it would be present in the next movie even if he won't direct. The report also confirmed that the movie is not on permanent hold.

This may remain unconfirmed yet but it sounds like an exciting story that will be flying out the screens in the next years to come. As mentioned earlier, Brainiac is one of Superman's most influential antagonists. In an article on Cinemablend, the extra-terrestrial alien wouldn't directly intend for the Kryptonian in "Man of Steel 2". He might be searching for the codex which was believed to be on another Kryptonian survivor's hands.

On the other hand, Supergirl will play an important role in "Man of Steel 2" if she would be given the chance to truly appear in the movie. In the DC comics, she is also a survivor just like her cousin Kal. And as for Bizarro, he is Brainiac's creation cloned from Superman programmed to steal the codex from Kara which will result to a battle royal with the superhero.

For now, it is tentative information but fans will surely love to finally see Brainiac and Supergirl in a live-action movie. Would you be excited to finally see Brainiac in "Man of Steel 2"?
