"Gravity Rush Remastered" will be in PS4 on February 9, 2016. Originally a PS Vita title, the game will boast of a lot of enhanced graphics and performance improvements. It will also come with three DLC packs that were once included in the original game. Its sequel, "Gravity Rush 2" is set to be released in 2016 as well.
Sony announced recently that one of its PS Vita standout exclusive will make a leap to a new platform and will now be titled "Gravity Rush Remastered," according to Cinema Blend. A former PS Vita title, Gravity Rush centers on a young woman named Kat and her mission to save a floating city from total destruction. She finds a help on a mysterious old man and a company which is a cat named Dusty.
Being an open-world game, "Gravity Rush" offered players to try on some side quests or handle story missions. But PS Vita did not give much of a chance for players to experience these free-falling adventures. But the game will have its turnabout as a recent announcement during the Tokyo Games Show 2015 and in the Playstation Blog confirmed that "Gravity Rush Remastered" will jump over the Playstation 4, along with her misfits, on February 10. Of course, enhanced visuals and many developments are expected as the game enters into the PS4 hardware; but along with this, "Gravity Rush Remastered" will also come with all the three DLC packs that were released for the original game.
The Spy Pack, The Maid Pack, and the Military Pack - were the three original downloadable content packs for the original "Gravity Rush"; and now will also come with the Playstation 4 version of the game, as mentioned in a Latin Post report. Other items included in the pack are costumes, two missions, and two challenges. As the game will now be in PS4, "Gravity Rush Remastered" will now be viewed on vibrant HD 1080p visuals; along with "ample graphical and performance improvements," as stated by Bluepoint.
Sony did not only make one, but two significant announcements for the "Gravity Rush" game at the Tokyo Games Show 2015. As per Inquistr, the studio also confirmed that "Gravity Rush 2" also for PS4 is under development. Although this time around, no release date yet was given out for the sequel. But a trailer released during the conference affirmed that Japan Studio will develop the second "Gravity Rush" game and will employ the same cel-shaded art style.
Initially released in Playstation Vita in 2012, "Gravity Rush" or "Gravity Daze" in Japan, the core mechanics of the game is the player's ability to manipulate gravity in the character of Kat. The short teaser trailer released at the Tokyo Games Show 2013 somewhat confirmed that a sequel will soon be launched. On the other hand, the "Gravity Rush Remastered" was only known until recently when the Korean Game Rating Board accepted it for PS4. Bluepoint Games will release the game in December in Japan and in February 2016 in North America and Europe. "Gravity Rush 2" is slated for a 2016 release.
