A new clue for the upcoming Big Hero 6 sequel may have been dropped in the previous Avengers: Age of Ultron. Also, the new reports suggest that the film could be released some time in 2017 to 2019 if Stan Lee's words are to go by.
An easter egg may have been left in the previous Avengers 2 film, according to Cinemablend. As keenly observed by one of its fans, Reddit user Kalean shared one observation in one of the scenes in the film. During the time when Tony Stark chose a new A.I. for his armor, it was reportedly noticeable that one of the indicated was labelled, "Tadashi".
Although the alleged Easter egg has not been confirmed yet, it is worth noting that the story of Big Hero 6 originally came from the Marvel comics. Aside from that, as reported by Christian Today, Hiro, Baymax, and the rest of the gang might have to face their evil versions in the upcoming film.
These claims were triggered by the new line of toys released by Bandai where Hiro and the rest of the characters were repainted, turning their previous colorful costumes into black which many believe could be a link to the plot of the upcoming film.
No release date has been officially sealed for the film yet, however, Master Herald reported that it could be released between 2017 to 2019. Stan Lee previously revealed that Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Big Hero 6 sequel, and Inhumans are currently in the works.
The upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is currently slated for May 2017 release while Inhumans will be ready to hit theaters in 2019 and rumor mill has it that the Big Hero sequel could also be released around the same time. However, it is also worth noting that these are unconfirmed and thus, must be taken with a grain of salt.
Details about the upcoming Big Hero 6 sequel are currently scarce, however, more details are expected to be revealed as production progress. Big Hero 6 was released in 2014 and centered on Hiro and the rest of the gang to defend San Fransokyo from the villainous from Yokai. The previous film grossed more than $600 million worldwide.
