Ghost Recon Wildlands: Ubisoft’s Largest Open World Game Soon to Hit Consoles

Game developer Ubisoft again impressed the gaming world during the recently held Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) as it unveiled its newest game, Ghost Recon: Wildlands, a four-player co-op game provides an open world experience to gamers, testing a team's groupthink and strategizing skills.

In its trailer at E3, Ghost Recon: Wildlands testified to what was claimed to be Ubisoft's largest game, featuring an open-world, co-op experience shooting game. Playstation Lifestyle reports that adding to the open-world experience is the variety of people and animals, all of which have their unique schedules that is subject to shift depending on the weather. Players have seemingly limitless opportunities to explore the terrains and the map itself.

Senior Producer Nouredine Abboud, in an interview, proudly revealed Examiner that there will be no limit on whether or not one player on one side of the map executing on a particular mission while the other player on the opposite working on a different one. She said in the company's behalf that they do not want to force people to stick together and have their gaming experience limited in a particular proximity with other players. "The game is based around the fact that you will have four players, so it's four human beings over the AI [Artificial Intelligence]," she expounded. Though players are allowed to go out on their own and play as they wish, working together as a team is however encouraged by Creative Director Eric Couzian for players may have the liberty of splitting out in limitless distances within the bounds of the map, but working alone is not easy if you are far from your team and thus will not be a good idea. The game encourages players to work as a team, but does not force to, Couzian added.

On the other hand, Games Radar claimed two schools of thought on Wildlands, that is; the game is branded as a "GTA wannabe" which attempts to deviate from the game's grounding on team-based tactics. The other one "argues it's a much-needed modernisation of a flagging series." Whichever school of thought a player wants to be in, Ghost Recon Wildlands surely captivates an ideal open-world environment, especially the helicopter view. The vast game world stretches within the Andes Mountains of Bolivia. By taking a view from the clouds, one can see villages as tiny specs but each of this spec is jam-packed with varying objectives with seemingly endless possibilities.

Ubisoft's largest open-world game, Ghost Recon: Wildlands, is packed with an immense array of objectives, interesting areas, and spontaneous events which would hit PS4, Xbox One and PC. Release date, however, is yet to be announced.
