Vin Diesel's latest film, The Last Witch Hunter, features him as Kaulder battling against supernatural things to save the world. Being an immortal witch hunter for 800 years, he is the only assailant qualified for the job.
Recently, Lionsgate has unveiled the second new trailer and new character posters for the franchise film via IGN. The trailer is entitled "Awakening". In the latest trailer, Chloe (Game of Thrones' Rose Leslie) will cooperate with Kaulder (Vin Diesel) as he prepare for the "awakening" danger as the Queen Witch destroys humanity. Chloe will learn the hard way how to handle a sleepy witch hunter.
Moreover, the action in the newly released trailer seemed to intrigue the audiences with all the crazy and weird stuff being featured in the short clip. Cinemablend observed that Diesel's character seemed to have a normal life with his family, showing no experience of sudden loss at least. Unlike this immortal film, one disadvantage of being an immortal is the risk of losing the people you love get old and die.
As has become usual with these types of fantasy action thrillers, Slash Film insisted that the movie plot appears to be familiar, but the visuals were remarkable. With all the storyline from a man who needs to protect the world (Vin Diesel) with the help of a priest (Elijah Wood), someone who has a knowledge of the past (Michael Caine), and the only person who can help him achieve his purpose (Rose Leslie).
Under the direction of Breck Eisner, the movie will also take Kaulder to seek for his long-lost loved ones. Unknowingly, the Queen Witch has brought back to life for vengeance.
It may seem a little familiar, but perhaps, it will be enthralling seeing Vin Diesel shift from behind the wheels of the "Fast and the Furious" to hunting witches and supernatural beings with his flaming sword not to mention his beards and mayhems. "The Last Witch Hunter" will be out in October 23, 2015.
