Singer Rihanna has no plans of joining Taylor Swift on stage any time soon. The self-proclaimed 'bad girl' recently faced a series of questions about joining the "Bad Blood" singer and her squad of friends in an interview. Unfortunately, Rihanna admitted it won't happen as they are reportedly just two different individuals.
It is known that Taylor Swift brings numerous celebrities with her on tour, during concerts, and on a general day to day basis. With famous celebrities such as Cara Delevingne, Karlie Kloss, Lisa Kudrow and Avril Lavigne being just a few of Swift's 'best friends,' one would think 'bad girl' Rihanna might want to be a part of the squad buddies, however, according to RiRi, that isn't the case.
In a report from Cosmopolitan UK, Rihanna opened up in an interview with NME Magazine on why she won't be a part of Taylor Swift's star-studded squad. "I don't think I would. I just don't think that makes sense." The 'Bitch Better Have My Money' then added, "I don't think our brands are the same; I don't think they match. I don't think our audiences are the same."
According to E Online, the 27-year-old she sees Taylor as more of the role model figure, where she doesn't see herself that way. According to previous interviews RiRi have done in the past, the Barbadian singer understands how fans look up to singers and celebrities as role models, but doesn't want to be labeled as one herself.
In another report from Glamour Magazine, Rihanna once stated in an interview with USA Today, how she feels uncomfortable with the term 'role model.' She then added, "I don't like to use that word because people have their own opinion on what that means to them. I can't really say I'm a role model. I'm not perfect. I'm not trying to sell that."
With Rihanna confirming she has no plan on joining Taylor Swift and her many BFF's, the R&B singer still stated she had a lot of love and respect for the former country girl singer. Though it doesn't look the two will be spotted any time soon performing together, Taylor and Rihanna still remain friends.
