Amazon Introduces Budget Friendly Fire Tablet at $50 Price; Fire Kids Edition Boasts Tough Tumble Durability

Amazon is introducing Fire Tablet, the most irresistible and a $50 tablet running the latest version of Amazon's Fire OS, a modified version of Android Lollipop, on a 7-inch IPS screen with black borders on its sides. The company also boasts Fire Kids edition that has tough tumble durability features.

According to Amazon, Fire OS 5 "Bellini" features an updated user interface, adds hundreds of new features and platform enhancements, and provides instant access to Amazon's vast content ecosystem of more than 38 million movies, TV shows, songs, books, apps, and games

The latest Amazon Fire Tablet sports 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage with microSD support up to 128GB of expandable storage. Additionally, it is packed with 2MP rear camera and 1.3MP front camera.

Aside from its inexpensive price, consumers would be attracted to Amazon Fire's all-day battery life that delivers up to 7 hours of reading, listening to music, watching video and browsing the web. In addition, Fire's durability is incredibly tough. As measured in tumble tests, Fire has almost doubled durability compared to the latest generation of iPad Air, according to Business Wire report.

Gizmodo added that the Amazon Fire is an exceptionally jam-packed tablet at an inexpensive price that has neat parallax effect with its Fire OS 5. Amazon Fire is priced at $49.99 and will start shipping on September 30. Amazon also give customers an option to its promo of buy five and get one free, six tablets all-in-all, for $249.95.

On the other hand, the new Amazon Fire HD 8 and Fire HD 10 are also unveiled. Respectively, it costs $150, and $230. It obviously comes in a higher level of quality than the $49.99-Fire tablet. The Amazon Fire HD 8 and Fire HD 10 come with colorful slates. It runs a 1.5GHz Quad-core MediaTek with 8GB or 16GB of storage.

There is also a tablet that is recommended for kids with tough tumble durability. The $100 Amazon Fire Kids Edition tablet is packed with life-proof rubber bumper, which is so suitable for kids. The Fire Kids Edition tablet has a 2-year no-questions-asked replacement policy, 10,000 pre-approved titles for junior to safely watch and a kid friendly web browser that users can turn off or add whitelisted sites.

Apparently, Amazon is offering consumers high-quality tablets at a cheap price with its Fire Family tablets.
