Move to iOS app bashed as sign of protest; Apple ironically reached highest swtiching record ever

The Move to iOS app receives overwhelming negative feedbacks on Google Play Store. However, the rate of switching from Android to iOS has increased in a country where Android is rampant.

The tech giant's Move to iOS app was introduced during the apple's worldwide developer conference in San Francisco. It is a free app that will be included to the built-in apps of iOS 9, Mac World reports. Additionally, it is used to transfer contacts, message history, photos, videos, web bookmarks, and mail account securely from users with Android device.

Apple is known of having a close environment operating system where users cannot transfer data and files to other devices unless it's Apple. It necessitates the installation of iTunes to sync users stuff from apple devices to non- iOS gadgets. Although, Apple isn't a mainstream technology that everyone should buy as handset provider.

The fans of Android have expressed their grievance and flooded the Google Play Store with bashful comments to the alleged app claiming that Apple OS is obviously dominanting the smartphone industry, but, it sounds convenient.

The Move to iOS app will also help rebuilding the library if the user decides to switch the phone into IOS. However, free apps such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram that are downloadable or sometimes a built-in app in Android are not transferable, therefore, it needs to be downloaded from Apple app store.

On the Play Store's Move to iOS app, it received more than 30,000 and counting for one- star ratings. While the five-star ratings have only received more than 6,000 and counting. The gap between the variations prove that feedbacks are rather controlled by schemes of the Apple haters than the fair response from the general users.

It is pretty obvious that they use the Google Play Store to air their protest against the app. Despite of the negative feedbacks from the Apple haters, there are some that defends the poor Apple app, even though, they are android fans themselves.

The Move to iOS app was quite useful based to the third quarter earning calls. According to Daily Mail, Tim Cook, Chief Executive Officer of Apple, said that Apple has seen the highest switching rate from Android that it has ever measured. IPhone grows its popularity in China by 87 percent, though, it is a country where the Android is particularly rampant.

Other than rivalry post, there are some that leave comment based on the performance, however, negative feedbacks are dominating the review section of the app.
