Rocksteady Studios has confirmed that fans can get their hands on Batman Arkham Knight's first of the October DLC packs next week, September 29. The game developer has also released a new patch 1.07 adding a new mode and to make way for the upcoming expansion.
Geek Snack reports that the first of the October DLC packs to be released on Xbox One and PS4 for Batman Arkham Knight called Crime Fighters Challenge Pack 2 will be available on September 29. The pack will include new Combat maps for the caped crusader and his allies. Predator maps for Batman and Robin known as Uncontainable and Sky High as well as a Batmobile challenge map called Armored Assault will also be added.
But prior to the release of October DLC packs, the game developer has rolled out Patch 1.07 for PS4, a new update that is made available for the game on PlayStation 4. The new features offered in Batman Arkham Knight update is the Big Head Mode and DLC compatibilities, Gear Nuke noted.
Similar in Batman Arkham City, the Big Head Mode can be activated by holding down left and right triggers, rotating the left stick clockwise and the right stick anticlockwise at the same time for a few seconds.
The usage of the Big Head Mode will change the appearance of the character trophies and remove the cabin roof of the Batmobiles. Also, trophies for the September DLC packs are being added. The Gangland Express trophy can be acquired when players get a total of 33 Stars in AR Challenges using the Tumbler Batmobile while the Rough Justice trophy is when the GCPD Lockdown campaign is completed.
Meanwhile, Tech News wrote that the new Original Batman Skin DLC and Batmobile Tumbler pack are now available for download starting September 23. Gamers can obtain the two DLCs for the game, both of which are part of Season Pass or buy them separately for $3.07.
Batman Arkham Knight developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment was released back in June across all regions on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
