Public won't hear anything about Nintendo NX from the officials until next year. Apart from rumors, the only fact about Nintendo NX is about sporting the latest gaming console of the company, which was announced by the late owner, Satoru Iwata.
Recently, there are latest leaks about Nintendo NX that seems to be closer to the truth. According to the Gaming Bolt, there are several patent applications filed but have the possibility of ending up with no finished product. However, the latest patent appears as if Nintendo's next console could feature the ability to sync with a handheld device.
Another leak has emerged which was reportedly spotted by Neogaf surrounding the new patent of Nintendo. The document was filed way back in February, according to Forbes. The controller was significantly dubbed as an operational apparatus that will come with the two face button and two joysticks. Moreover, there is a couple of scrolling shoulder wheel and d-pad along with the big second screen at the center.
The operational apparatus is meant as it can be used in both portrait and landscape modes. The design leaves various impressions from other online news implying that it wasn't actually Nintendo NX. But some reports point it out as the repaired version of Wii U that was released by Nintendo three years ago.
Despite of the insufficient information about Nintendo NX, AMD shared a sneak peek about what to expect from the upcoming Nintendo NX gaming console. It shows the new design that the company is working on for the next generation gaming console which is scheduled to be available in 2016.
The joint venture of Nintendo with AMD will insist on a fact that Nintendo NX is something else. It is an entirely different type of gaming console from Wii U as revealed on the Neogaf forum. Although, AMD isn't completely new to provide main processor to the gaming console as it also has a history with the Nintendo's rival companies.
Other than that, the specs of Nintendo NX wasn't revealed yet. Additionally, based on the rumored specs about Nintendo NX, it has an edge to compete with other large consoles like Microsoft Xbox and Sony's PlayStation.
