After eight seasons of coaching "The Voice", it seems like Blake Shelton and Adam Levine may have finally hit a bumpy scrap and this is making the latter lose his mind. On the other hand, it looks like the bromance between the two coaches are cooling down as Adam Levine keeps on teasing Shelton to the other coach, Gwen Stefani, about possibly heating up romance.
On Monday's season nine debut, E! News reported that Levine and fellow coaches Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams have been losing out on country artists to Shelton and the Maroon 5 lead singer is not happy about it.
After losing the final artist Barrett Barber to Shelton, Levine tried to reveal Shelton's technique for connecting with the contestants. He stated, "I'm from a place' and they're like, Well, I'm from a place' and, like, Okay! Dumbest thing ever! Can't you be from different places and, like, do stuff? It's so stupid. It's a dumb, stupid thing." Shelton shortly replied back to Levine's protest, trying to hide his amusement over the singer's point, "If it doesn't bother you, why are you still talking?" Levine backed up his comment, "No, you bother me."
But now that Gwen Steffani's entering the show once again, reports claim that the bromance between Levine and Shelton is doomed to end soon. And it looks like, the Maroon 5 frontman is trying to hook up the two singers together.
Allegedly, the competition isn't the only thing that's firing up on the newest season of "The Voice". Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have also been quite flirty with each other lately. And Adam Levine is loving every second of the flirting incident. The new "The Voice" love team both recently had their divorces to their respective former partners.
"Blake and Gwen's relationship is definitely water cooler talk on the set of The Voice," a source told Hollywood Life. The source also added, "Everyone wants to see them happy and it just seems like perfect timing for them to become more than friends. Their two divorces are not really talked about openly - by anyone other than Adam."
In fact, Miranda Lambert's ex has been making Stefani laugh during her divorce. "She can't believe how blessed she is to have been offered this job on The Voice where she gets to be around amazing people like him, Adam and Pharrell [Williams]," the source revealed.
As reported by Inquistr, Levine, Shelton, and Stefani are not only well-known coaches, they are also famous music artists that had been linked to divorce controversies lately. And now, their fans speculate that there must be a curse behind "The Voice" stage.
But now that Shelton and Stefani are free from any commitments, many of their fans want them to be together as both are said to be very kind and funny. They seemingly love every second of the "Gwake" tandem's flirting and laughs together.
