The official trailer for the upcoming film "The Big Out" is out. The comedy movie is about the financial crisis of 2007-2010 and stars Brad Pitt, Ryan Gosling, Christian Bale and Steve Carell.
According to First Showing, Paramount has released the official trailer for the comedy film "The Big Out." The studio is reportedly pushing it to hit theaters by the end of this year. The film is believed to be a dark comedy version of "The Wolf of Wall Street," where a group of bankers decided to pull out a huge defrauding scheme.
Adding to the all-star cast are Karen Gillan (Guardians Of The Galaxy), Marisa Tomei (Crazy Stupid Love), and Melissa Leo (The Prisoners). Pitt is reportedly the producer of the movie, while "Anchorman's" Adam McKay is the writer/director.
In an interview with EW, McKay praised the A-list quartet, saying that "these guys are all so successful that they most of all just appreciate each other." He also explained that there was no sort of "competition or territorialism going on, but there was a feeling of everyone's got to be on their game because everyone respects everyone around them."
Meanwhile, The Independent reported that it was the characters that drew McKay into helming the film. The director reportedly love the idea of picking the wrong guys and that people should be listening to the ones "who don't make eye contact, the ones with a bad haircut, the ones who don't dress well."
The forthcoming film is based on the best-selling non-fiction book of the same name by Michael Lewis. It talks about the financial crisis that nearly pulled out the entire world economy into the abyss. The lead characters' bold risks will lead them into the sad truth of modern banking.
"The Big Short," which just had its official trailer released, hits cinemas in December 11, 2015. It's a dark comedy movie about the financial crisis of 2007-2010 and includes an all-star cast - namely, Brad Pitt, Ryan Gosling, Christian Bale and Steve Carell.
