Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege will have 11 maps when launched in December with all the maps after launch are free to download. PC Gamer gives more information about the game by detailing Ubisoft's email:

"At launch, Rainbow Six Siege will have 11 maps, playable both day or night, all using the full potential of our Real Blast destruction technology. In addition, all post-launch maps will be downloadable for free. We want players to stay with us for the long term and have ambitious post-launch plans that we will detail at a later stage."

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege will be using Ubisoft's AnvilNext game engine. The game will be the latest installment to the Rainbow Six game franchise featuring multiplayer-focused tactical First-Person Shooter focusing heavily on teamplay and realism that's inspired by real world counter-terrorism missions. The game takes players in sieges featuring five-versus-five gameplay between terrorists and counter-terrorist operatives.

Developed by Ubisoft Montreal, Rainbow Six Siege was initially announced E3 last year. The game is originally scheduled for release on October 13 but moved to December 1, 2015 for all regions as the developer needs more time to polish the game. A Closed Beta starts today, September 24.
