Jason Fuchs was reported to be one of the screenwriters of the 2017 "Wonder Woman" solo movie. He reportedly explained how DC Comics Movies are totally different from that of Marvel.
ComicBook.com stated that Warner Bros. narrowed the field down to two candidates: Fuchs and an unnamed scribe. Fuchs is known to be a writer of the 2015 movie "Pan," starred by Garrett Hedlund (Tron: Legacy, Unbroken).
And although Fuchs, for some reason, didn't confirm or deny his involvement in the "Wonder Woman" film, a recent interview with Collider showed what he had to say about the DC Extended Universe.
"This is what I would say. When you work for DC, it's sort of like working for the CIA. You have a vow of silence." The writer went on to explain: "I think, as we speak, Zack Snyder's gonna come in here and put a muzzle on me. The trouble with these things is that you really can't say much."
And with regard to how different DC Comics Movies are compared to Marvel, Fuchs said that it's no secret that "this is a very different cinematic universe than the one that Marvel has constructed over at Disney." He also claimed that they are "specific, grand, slightly darker, slightly grittier place."
Meanwhile, Movie Web reported some speculations about the storyline of "Wonder Woman" movie. It is rumored that the Amazonian superheroine will be over 100 years old in "Batman V.S. Superman: Dawn of Justice," and the film might follow the character's New 52 Origins, where she is actually the daughter of Zeus - thus explaining her age.
For now, fans can only hope that what screenwriter Jason Fuchs said - that movies from DC Comics are different than Marvel - holds true. "Wonder Woman" solo film, which stars Gal Gadot, will start filming in November 1.
