Patrick Dempsey has already been confirmed to join the cast of the new Bridget Jones Diary movie. The actor even posted a photo of him being on set.
Just earlier this month was it confirmed that the famous McDreamy from the hit TV series entitled "Grey's Anatomy" Patrick Dempsey is going to be a part of the third Bridget Jones Diary movie. As reported by Vanity Fair, the third movie is reportedly going to be entitled "Bridget Jones's Baby". The role of Dempsey has not yet been confirmed yet. However, the actor already posted a photo of him on set via his instagram account. They were shooting in England, at Pinewood Studios as based from his instagram post.
The new movie is still going to be directed by Sharon Maguire, who directed the first film in the franchise. The character of Hugh Grant, Daniel Cleaver will no longer be back on the new movie. It has been confirmed that Renee Zellweger and Colin Firth are returning, according to Mirror. The film crews were spotted during Ed Sheeran's Croke Park concert in July, marking the first moments in early filming for the new movie. None of the other main talents have been involved.
The 49-year-old actor looks really excited on his upcoming project, as he stated on his post. His fans have been waiting for him to be seen again on TV or even on the big screen, since his exit from "Grey's Anatomy" as reported by Hollywood Life. The new movie is allegedly going to catch up with Bridge as she enters her 40s and juggling her career as a publishing executive with a baby coming her way.
The actor is definitely going to portray another McDreamy role as he always has been in his past projects. The movie is set to start filming this October.
