It is being directed by "The Spectacular Now" director, James Ponsoldt.

Back in June, Ponsoldt told Variety that Watson is amongst his favorite actors. "Emma Watson is one of my favorite actors, and her incredible talent, sensitivity and deep intelligence will bring an electric energy to The Circle," the director claimed.

Watson appeared in numerous films including, "The Bling Ring," "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" and "Noah." She is set to appear in the Disney movie, "Beauty and the Beast" slated in 2017.
