China's Counterfeit Apple Store Has Flourished As The Newest iPhone Models Were Unveiled

A lot of counterfeit Apple Store has flourished in China as the Apple's new flagships were released into the market.

As these new flagships of Apple became available the counterfeit stores also came out in China promoting fake units of the device. Reuters recently reported that there is a street in China's southern boomtown of Shenzhen having more than 30 stores having Apple Inc's logo market pre-orders of the newest iPhone.

A lot of the stores looked like the Apple's signature outlets and also, the sales stafts were wearing blue T-shirts bearing the company's white logo. There were sample iPads and iWatches displayed on glossy wooden tables.

The Apple Inc. has only one official store in Shenzhen and five authorized dealers in the area and the other stores around the 1 kilometer shopping corridor were said to be unauthorized retailers

According to TODAY, the Shenzhen's unauthorized Apple stores were taking gain, investing on quick-hit gains from re-selling devices bought via authorized sales channels for as much as double the official price to consumers unenthusiastic to wait weeks for stock to come in.

There were several workers at the stores saying they were buying iPhone models in China and in overseas markets such as the United States and Hong Kong, from where they would be trafficked across the border into the mainland.

Consumerist have discussed that the difference of the fake Apple Store from the real one is not just the existence of Apple products that came from gray market. They also outfit their employees in t-shirts and lanyards, they were also doing their best to make the store look like the real thing.

The Apple Inc. was indeed one of the largest among smartphone companies, and it was not a surprise that there were counterfeit stores in China that flourished as the Apple's new flagships were unleashed.
