Bieber graced the Complex magazine's latest issue and made a revelation why he and Selena didn't last. He admitted that "Love is a choice and not a feeling." He revealed that when he was with the "Good For You" singer, they used to fight a lot that it seemed that he would lose his mind. The 21-year-old Canadian singer also said that what he had with Selena was a marriage kind of thing.
"I moved in with my girlfriend when I was 18. Started my own life with her," Justin explained to Complex . "It was a marriage kind of thing. Living with a girl, it was just too much at that age. When stuff would happen, I would lose my freakin' mind, and she would lose her mind, and we would fight so hard because we were so invested in each other."
Justin and Selena were too young when they started their relationship in 2010. In the midst of their romance, their continuous fight had stepped up a gear where it led to their failed relationship. He claimed that during that time, both of them were so in love that nothing else mattered. The Calvin Klein model also said that they even reached the point they lost their real identity, Hollywood Life reports.
During the interview with the magazine, the 21-year-old revealed his transformation from his depicted bad boy image in the past. He claimed that he's not going to apologize for the things he had done in the past because he believed that with those things, he can tell a story. Biebs claimed that he's tired of outing a mask and putting up a show to people. This time, he revealed that he's going to be himself no matter what, Elle reports.
Justin and Selena had tried to rekindle their romance this year, but it swiftly died after reports claim that she cheated on him over Orlando Bloom. Justin's interview comes on the heels when his ex girlfriend admitted in an interview that she still loves Nick Jonas and that she's willing to date him again if he'll ask her.
