The high-end Meizu Pro 5 is reported slated to be unveiled on October 12. This device is considered as the most advanced smartphone from Meizu that has the largest screen and powerful specs yet being offered at an affordable price.
According to GSM Arena, the latest Meizu Pro 5 is reckoned to be the ambassador to the company's fresh exquisite high-end line-up. The new device was reported to have a phablet size that comes in 5.7-inch and runs on Samsung's powerful Exynos 7420.
As for more of its elaborated specifications, the Android authority has stated that the Meizu Pro 5 features a 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display along with a 2.5D curved glass and moderately small bezels on either side of the screen. It will also blow a back shooter that delivers a huge 21MP Sony IMX230 camera and a 5MP front-camera. The company also reported that the Meizu Pro 5 will arrive with a phase detection auto focus that allows the user to focus on a subject in just 0.7 second
It will equip the same Exynos 7420 processor that can also be found with the Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge Plus and Note 5, too. This processor is capable of providing significant power to the handset. The smartphone will be offered with either 3GB or 4GB RAM that will depend whether the consumer will opt for the 32GB or 64GB model.
What's more, Meizu Pro 5 shares a slight resemblance of the exterior design of Apple iPhones. Meizu has seemingly employed a "sturdy metal" chassis together with placeholders for the Antennas.The affordable device will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with Flyme 5 UI, International Business Times wrote.
Furthermore, Meizu Pro 5 will also support the new "4G+" network with 300 Mbps speed and Voice over LTE (VoLTE) aside from the standard connectivity options. In addition, the notable feature of USB Type C connector bundled with rapid charge support will be included on this device.
Lastly, the Meizu Pro 5 battery unit is stated of being able to charge from 0 percent to 65 percent in a span of only 30 minutes. Meanwhile, this latest handset deceptively recorded an enormous 75,000+ in AnTuTu benchmark testing.
For pricing concern, the 32 GB with 3 GB of RAM version of Meizu Pro 5 is priced at 2,800 Yuan or about $439. On the other hand, its 64 GB model with 4 GB of RAM is having a price tag of 3,100 Yuan or $486.
