Kim Zolciak To Withdraw From 'Dancing With The Stars' After Mini-Stroke: Dancer's health "is the most important thing."

By

After feeling the pain from a mini-stroke last week, Kim Zolciak has been forced to formally pull out herself from "Dancing with the Stars" due to potential risks on health condition.

Huffington Post reported that the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" actress was unable to travel to Los Angeles for her dance performance after her health crisis. Kim via Skype said on Monday's episode that her doctor did not give her a clearance to fly following her transient ischemic attack or mini-stroke.

The show's host, Tom Bergeron, explained that according to the rules set for the competition, any contestant should be disqualified "in the instance of illness or other health-related matters affecting their ability to participate." Furthermore, the show also posted a tweet saying that Zolciak's health "is the most important thing."

The reality star showed her sadness from being disqualified to perform on "DWTS" by posting a video on Instagram. "I practiced for hours Saturday I was so excited to be there tonight! I just needed a few more days and then I'm cleared to fly! ? #ImReallySad#ImStrong," she posted.

Zolciak rehearsed "I Dream Of Jeannie" themed dance with Dovolani on Saturday. The two are almost ready to perform on the show but it's to too soon to fly for Zolciak. Dovolani, who seemed to be eager to continue their performance, asked Bergeron if the show's rules could be bent in order for Zolciak to continue on "DWTS."

In line with this request, Bergeron responded by saying that the lawyers and producers of the show had already decided and their verdict must stand. Although the final decision was made by DWTS, Dovolani informed the reporters that he had begun an online public campaign aiming to bring Zolciak back so they can compete on the show.

"I put a tweet out, in the midst of everything, saying bring Kim back, just hoping we can persuade those lawyers and all that."

Some fans said that this is just Kim's reason for her way out of the "Dancing With The Stars" competition. However, others still believe that the star can dance but suffering from mini-stroke is totally out of her control. Many admire the actress for prioritizing her health over the show.
