Recently, reports for the reviews of "The Walk" movie has been appearing online while it awaits for its release next month. Robert Zemeckis has explained why Joseph Gordon-Levitt is perfectly fitted for the role.
In an interview with the Cinema Blend, Zemeckis was asked if of any chance he had planned to hire a French actor to portray Philippe Petit, he said that Gordon-Levitt was the only star he wanted to have the lead role. "No - Joe being a Francophile and speaking perfect French, I consider him like a French actor. He fit the bill, and he had all that going for him," he said.
He also commended him for his great performance making him suitable for the role. "But he's also a magnificent actor and has a real, deep appreciation for the circus arts and for performance art. And, you know, he fit the bill for me perfectly."
Robert Zemeckis helmed the movie which will be released on the second Wednesday next month. USA Today noted that the movie is rated PG, **1/2 out of four which will open in IMAX theaters. "The Walk" is based on the biographical story of Philippe Petit in his infamous wire-walking and skyscraper obsession in New York City's Twin Tower in 1974. The glory of IMAX and 3D is also an honor to the fallen World Trade Center.
According to ABC News, Gordon-Levitt will be featured with fake blue eyes with a thick French accent. In the movie, he simply resembled the sociopathic Petit. Petit is an artist with complete tunnel vision. The story starts in a circus-like setting alongside the requisite underdeveloped cast accompanying him while he narrates his own story.
Most of the reviews were positively stated. Aside from Gordon-Levitt, Clément Sibony as his closest ally, Ben Kingsley will play as a mentor, César Domboy, Charlotte Le Bon will be his girlfriend, and James Badge Dale will be appearing in the movie.
"The Walk" is an inspirational story for all the audiences who have a dream. It is also a story that shows passion with arts and adventure.
