"Kingsman: The Secret Service" has previously announced a sequel installment franchise. Furthermore, Mark Millar has hinted some details regarding the new project.
Mark Millar, the scriptwriter of the comic which was the basis of the movie, revealed in IGN that Colin Firth will be returning back as Agent Galahad. According to him, Galahad's return after his unfortunate downfall has become the main concern for the production team.
However, the team has not fully determined what will he become when he return back to life. He may be a ghost, or he may come back with a mustache. "It's funny because there are a lot of conversations like that, like should he have an evil brother, Colin with a mustache? Or is he a ghost or whatever? The guys have a plan," he said.
He reiterated that they have a plan but, the decision has not fully made. "I can't spoil it just now because the final decision is still to be made. It'll be good. Vaughan's funny," he stated.
Nerdist reported that Matthew Vaughn, the writer and director, will be a lot much busier with all the new projects set on his table. With all the financial success he has made with the first movie, Millar assured that he will be working on with the sequel movie on his own hands.
In an article on the Comicbook, Millar hinted that the movie will make more sense if Firth's character is present. In addition, Firth has to confirm whether he wants to return or stay where he is in the movie. He also revealed that they will start filming in Easter.
"Kingsman: The Secret Service" has totalled to an estimate of $410 million worldwide upon its release earlier this year. In the first film, Harry Hart has been annihilated in an authoritative form. So, sources say it would be unlikely possible for him to be seen in the sequel film.
Meanwhile, Millar has not revealed any further updates and details about what the movie writers are exactly planning for Firth's comeback. Will he be a zombie, a superhuman or just the usual agent?
