Production has already started for "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" and they have already set a release date which is January 17, 2017. Milla Jovovich and Ali Larter will be working together in the sequel. This was evident when Milla posted a photo of herself and Ali on her Instagram account.
ComingSoon.net shared that Milla Jovovich and Ali Larter will work together once more in "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter." Milla will still play the role of Alice while Ali will continue on as Claire Redfield. Other cast members are Iain Glen, Shawn Roberts, Ruby Rose, Eoin Macken, William Levy, Fraser James, and Rola. The film is produced by Paul W.S. Anderson, Jeremy Bolt, Samuel Hadida, and Robert Kulzer. Executive producers are Victor Hadida of Metropolitan Films and Martin Moszkowicz of Constantin Films. The final installment of the series is written and will be directed by Paul W.S. Anderson.
Cinema Blend pointed out the Instagram photo of Milla Jovovich and Ali Larter for "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter." Milla seems to be wearing a tactical vest and is fairly tattered in her appearance, an indication of the extreme action sequences for the film. You might have noticed that her outfit has quite evolved to a more sophisticated version in terms of style and design.
As for Larter, she didn't look like she had been through any action at all, and she probably wasn't working at the moment the photo was taken. The background was also filled with license plates, which could mean they were at a garage on the set. Regardless, this move by Jovovich definitely did the trick in teasing the fans about the movie.
Den of Geek reported that production for "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" has finally started for the sixth and supposedly final sequel. The storyline will start where "Resident Evil: Retribution" has left off in which Alice heads back to Racoon City, the place where the story started, to fight against Umbrella Corporation as well as waves of undead people. She will have to team up with old friends and probably old foes as well to overcome the evil corporation.
Fans and moviegoers will surely flock by the hordes into theaters on January 17, 2017. Milla Jovovich's photo of her and Ali Larter posted in Instagram is just the start of many more photo teasers as they continue their production shoot.
