'Live By Night' is the latest cinematic work of actor-director Ben Affleck. Several crew members have already begun work in constructing fake sets of Ybor City in Brunswick, Georgia. Warner Bros. will be holding casting calls for extras in the area. The studio has also pushed back the film's release date.

According to Coming Soon, Warner Bros. pushed back the release of Ben Affleck's next directorial gig. This is reportedly the second time it has been delayed. The live-action adaptation of the best-selling novel by Dennis Lehane was originally slated for a January 29, 2016 release but has now been moved to sometime in 2017.

Affleck made his feature-length directorial debut in the 2007's critically acclaimed 'Gone Baby Gone' where he won a Boston Society of Film Critics Award for Best New Filmmaker, a Hollywood Film Festival Award for Breakthrough Director of the Year, and a National Board of Review Award for Best Directorial Debut. He went on to helm other award-winning films including 2010's 'The Town' and 2012's 'Argo'.

The Savannah Morning News reported that several crew members have already begun constructing movie sets that resemble Ybor City in Brunswick, Georgia. The preparations in the downtown area come in time for the film's start of principal photography on November. The story is set in the United States' Prohibition Era and one of the locales to be featured is Ybor City, a former Cuban enclave near Tampa in Florida.

Mayor Cornell Harvey of Brunswick said, "For this period of time, we will live by night... and you can see our Southern hospitality. I know you will leave behind the goodwill you bring to our city." It was reported that Harvey welcomed the boost to the local economy.

Another report from First Coast News announced that Warner Bros. will be casting extras to play various roles such as residents of Cuban neighborhoods, salsa dancers, factory workers and Depression-era families. Affleck is all set to star in 'Live By Night' alongside Zoe Saldana, Elle Fanning, Sienna Miller and Chris Messina.

'Live By Night' is an upcoming crime-drama based on the critically acclaimed novel by Dennis Lehane. It's plot is centered on a group of individuals connected to the world of organized crime in the Prohibition Era in the United States. The film will feature Affleck as actor, writer and director.
