'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales' leading man Johnny Depp is speculated to be not too thrilled at the return of Orlando Bloom. The latter is said to be brought in to save the franchise but it seems that the two actors have some "bad blood" between them. Kaya Scodelario and co-star Brenton Thwaites are also said to headline future sequels.

According to The Daily Star, Orlando Bloom has rejoined with the cast of the widely popular swashbuckler franchise after having been absent in the preceding film 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides'. Bloom and co-star Keira Knightley, who play lovers Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann respectively, announced that they weren't going to reprise their roles for that film since they wanted to try out other projects. Bloom is now back to portray Will Turner who is transformed into the supernatural captain of the Flying Dutchman, Davy Jones.

It was reported by Classicalite that Bloom's co-star Johnny Depp isn't too thrilled at Disney's decision to bring back some old characters to save the franchise - Bloom, to be more precise. An insider revealed that Depp was angered by the move since he and Bloom had some "bad blood" between them in the past. There have been no further details regarding the authenticity of the report.

Regardless of alleged behind-the-scenes drama, 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales' promises to deliver novel adventures that feature old and new characters. According to Moviepilot, audiences will be introduced to Will and Elizabeth's son Henry who is said to be on a personal quest to save his father from an unfortunate curse. Javier Bardem will also be playing the newest antagonist Captain Salazar and Kaya Scodelario will be the latest female protagonist Carina Smyth.

It was further revealed by Scodelario that the fifth installment in the franchise may lead to subsequent newer storylines. She said, "[The producers] want to take it back to the beginning again. They wanted it to have this epic journey, and for it to make sense, and for it to tie things up, and also lead to new storylines." She hinted that she and co-star Brenton Thwaites, who plays Henry, may headline future sequels.

'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales' is the fifth film in Disney's fantasy-adventure franchise. It is directed by Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg and is scheduled to debut in cinemas on July 7, 2017. It will follow Captain Jack Sparrow's quest to find the legendary Trident of Poseidon to help him defeat the murderous Captain Salazar.
