While the "Neighbors 2" begins production, Seth Rogen revealed the title of the on-going project. On the other hand, Andrew J. Cohen and Brendan O'Brien also talked about the film.
Rogen, an actor and producer, was interviewed by the Collider regarding the sequel movie of the comedy film "Neighbors". When asked how the film was going, he simply answered 'great'. "Neighbors 2 is going great!" he said.
Other than that, he revealed that "Neighbors 2" has been given the subtitle "Sorority Rising". "Right now we're calling it Sorority Rising until the studio tells us not to. I think that's a good ... whatever you call the thing that goes after the colon. And that's what it's about."
During an interview with Andrew J. Cohen and Brendan O'Brien, who are writing the script and the executive producers of "Neighbors" and "Neighbors: Sorority Rising", The Wrap asked how important to be credited as writers and what made them stay for another story. Cohen said they have been writing the script even on set and they are being integral on a day-to-day basis.
Nicholas Stroller has signed to direct the film alongside the stars Seth Rogen, Zac Efron, Rose Byrne, Dave Franco, Ike Barinholts, Liz Cackowski and Christopher Mintz-Plasse. Cohen commended the talented improv characters which also made the movie successful movie aside from the good story. Flickering Myth also listed some names of the new comers who will be joining the original stars in the first movie.
Chloe Grace Moretz, Selena Gomez, Kiersey Clemons, Beanie Feldstein and Billy Eichner will be joining them. "Neighbors: Sorority Rising" will follow the life of the cast in a "Casino" in the suburban. It would be a 'big crazy comedy" as O'Brien called it. The story will also feature Will and Amy's college daughters who struggle with their education when their parents lost the money for their school fees.
The first movie was released last year earning up a total of $268 million worldwide. The main joke of the "Neighbors: Sorority Rising" is the "suburban gangster".
