'Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension' is an upcoming sequel to the widely popular horror series that replicate found footage of supernatural occurrences. The newest television spots feature Toby the demon, a recurring specter that has tormented past characters in the preceding films.

According to Bloody Disgusting, the final installment set to debut later in the month will answer the mythos behind the hauntings told time and time again in the horror series. Gregory Plotkin's directorial debut will focus on a new family, the Fleeges, as they move into a house in Palo Alto, Calliforia and uncover a video camera together with a mysterious box of video tapes in the garage. The video camera gives its handlers the ability to see spirits that the human eye cannot - including the heinous Toby the demon.

One such television spot shows scenes that could induce discomfort including ghostly vomitus and "demonic insides", according to Yahoo! Movies. It was revealed that Katie, Kristi's sister one of the two girls trained with supernatural activities by their grandmother, would break down the fourth wall of the paranormal dimension and notice the human residents' presence - with the Fleeges' young daughter Leila being a target of the ghostly menace.

The new film may be Plotkin's directorial debut but he had worked on several films in the serious prior to helming 'Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension'. According to Movie Web, he worked as editor on Paranormal Activity 2, 3, and 4 as well as the series' spin-off 'Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones'. It was reported that the concluding film will attempt to answer questions as well show Toby's actual appearance.

'Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension' is scheduled for a cinematic release on October 23, 2015. It stars Chris J. Murray as Ryan Fleedge, Brit Shaw as Emily Fleege, Ivy George as Leila Fleege, Dan Gill as Mike Fleege and Chloe Csengery as Katie. The fifth installment will bring the popular series to a close.

The series is best known for its use of "found footage" - the use of camcorders, security cameras, and other recording devices - and has highly popularized the specialized genre. The films generally received positive reviews and were regarded as massive successes in the box office having earned over 40 times its original budget.
