"Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" is currently underway and will be the last installment in the franchise. Although some are skeptical about it, it seems the cast are feeling opposite as they recently shared photos taken directly from the set. Also, speculations have surfaced that the movie's plot will find the Red Queen dead.
According to Ecumenical News, Milla Jovovich shared of photo of herself and Ali Larter on social media, as they prepare for a scene. Larter, who is reprising her role as Claire Redfield, can be seen fairly clean on the image. Beside her is Jovovich, whose character Alice is set to save what's left of humanity.
The publication added that the other stars of "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" have also taken to social media, so as to share insights from the set. Larter, particularly, posted a photo of herself all decked out in her Claire Redfield outfit, as "shooting begins. Day 1. Red never felt so good."
Latin Times, on the other hand, reported that Eoin Macken also posted some photos that include a picture of himself with William Levy. The two appear to be having a bit of fun, despite the guns as well as the danger surrounding them. The photo's caption says: "Can't get a moments peace on set with this guy [Levy]."
Meanwhile, according to Christian Today, "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" will follow the events right after "Resident Evil: Retribution". People will get to see Alice trying to kill the Red Queen as well as ending the ongoing apocalypse once and for all. In addition, Alice will be seen traveling back to where the series all began - the Raccoon City. However, things won't be easy for the lead character, as the said place is home to the nefarious Umbrella Corporation.
Although "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" will be happening, no official release date has been announced as of this writing. For now, fans can treat their eyes to the photos recently shared by the movie's casts.
