Nina Dobrev and her new boyfriend Austin Stowell just recently officially made their red carpet debut together. The former "The Vampire Diaries" star looked gorgeous in a long black Versace dress while striking a pose to support her new love Austin Stowell for his movie premiere.

According to Dailymail UK, the 26-year old actress was present to support her new beau Austin Stowell for his role in the Tom Hanks World War II drama. "TVD" star accompanied her new boyfriend to The New York Film Festival debut of his new drama. Dobrev and Stowell showed their PDAs on the red carpet, while holding hands and striking their adorable poses as a couple.

E! News claimed that the movie debut was held at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center as part of the New York Film Festival. Stowell plays pilot Francis Gary Powers in the film about the Cold War. The actress was first linked to Stowell back in July, when they were spotted on a date at a comedy club. They later attended Eli Mizrahi's Founding Member launch party together during New York Fashion Week.

In 2013, the actress had just split from boyfriend and costar Ian Somerhalder, told Cosmopolitan what she looks for in a man. "You either have chemistry or you don't, but a lot of what attracts me is a guy's mind and humor and talent," she said. "I need to get to know all those things before I fall for someone. I'm not a one-night-stand kind of girl. I'm a relationship girl. I'm progressive in some ways, old-fashioned in others. I like it when guys hold the door open and are sweet and thoughtful."

But then, this was not the first time that the new couple attended an event together. Dobrev and her boyfriend also posed for a snapshot just last month while walking the red carpet at the launch of the new fashion brand "Founding Member", as reported by Just Jared. The pair also attended alongside other stars like Bella Thorne and Gregg Sulkin, as well as model Devon Windsor.

Meanwhile, the actress has been busy working on film projects since she finished her last episode on "The Vampire Diaries." Her fans can also catch Dobrev in the comedic slasher film "The Final Girls" when it premieres in select theaters on October 9. On the other hand, Dobrev's new love's film "Bridge of Spies" opens in cinemas on October 16.
