An extra $1.5 million was offered to Jamie Dornan for him to go full frontal in "Fifty Shades Darker." Dornan who plays the role of a charismatic billionaire has been expected by fans to show more skin on the trilogy.
Fans were a little disappointed that the first installment of the film adaptation of E.L. James' trilogy did not feature enough erotic scenes. Many of the followers of "Fifty Shades of Grey" even suggested that they will not support the second movie "Fifty Shades Darker" because of the lack of sexy scenes between the film's lead stars Dornan and Dakota Johnson.
However, Dornan has not yet confirmed nor denied the possibility of a full frontal nude scene. On the other hand, he was spotted showing his ripped muscle in a celebrity golf tournament. Thus, it made the fans think that the Irish actor and model has finally agreed to do the nude scene that the fans are hotly anticipating to see.
This was even heightened when costume designer Mark Bridges spilled that there is going to be more mature scenes in the movie.
Whilst the two leading actors, Dornan and Johnson are certainly confirmed to be reprising their role, other characters in the sequel are not yet filled; excluding Eloise Mumford who has confirmed her return to the franchise as well. Despite James Foley heeding the call of the directorship after Sam Taylor-Johnson left, a casting director has not yet been identified. Consequently, production is stationary.
Dana Brunetti stated: "We're nowhere near casting. We haven't gotten into anything like that. We don't even have a casting director on it yet."
If "Fifty Shades Darker" will stick to the book series, it will be introducing new key characters. These characters consist of Leila Williams, Jack Hyde and Elena Lincoln/Mrs. Robinson. The names of actors being associated to these roles are Cara Delevingne, Alexis Bledel, Ian Somerhalder, Charlize Theron and Henry Cavill. Among these actors, only Cavill has spoken out denying truth to his connection to the movie.
"Fifty Shades of Grey," was a major blockbuster success that brought in more than half a billion dollars in the worldwide box office. "Fifty Shades Darker" is expected to hit the big screen on February 10, 2017.
