Since "The Conjuring 2" has started shooting, further details have emerged. Two main characters will be returning back in the sequel movie franchise. A photo of the two together with the director has been uploaded on a social media account.
James Wan (Fast and Furious 7), the movie director, has posted a reunion photo on his official Twitter account with Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga. They were at the set for "The Conjuring 2". With no other words, he captioned the photo with "We're back, baby!" and tagged "With @patrickwilson73 @VeraFarmiga on set #TheConjuring2 @TheConjuring @NewLine_Cinema @wbpictures".
The sequel movie has been given the title of "The Conjuring: The Enfield Poltergeist". Although the storyline has been kept concealed, Collider suggested that the film is inspired by the poltergeist activity in England during the late '70s. While the production is ongoing, Farmiga has also shared her excitement on social media as they return as the "ghoulbuster".
Despite the progressing future movie, Entertainment Weekly reported that Warner Bros is being blamed for the unwanted display of agitable fans in "The Conjuring" farmhouse at the Rhode Island. According to the lawsuit documents, the couple who owns the house [Norma Sutcliffe and Gerald Helfrich] of Harrisville filed a case against the studio and filmmakers for a "Conjuring-instigated siege of their property".
Since the first film was released in July 2013, they have been experiencing "threats of physical violence and harm, sleepless nights, and worry that one day, one of the many trespassers will commit an act of destruction, violence, or harm," the suit declares. However, Warner Bros has not yet made a public remark about it.
On the other hand, "The Conjuring 2" has already begun shooting last month which started with a priest blessing the set. Unlike the "Annabelle", the upcoming movie will be based on truth experiences of the Warrens.
