Showrunner Alexi Hawley shared some details with Entertainment Weekly about Rick and Kate's break-up. Hawley finally reveals that the reason why Kate broke up with Rick is that she ran out of love and she needs to focus on her mother's murder.

Meanwhile TV Line reports, ABC introduces Lucy (portrayed by Aubrey Plaza) a new character for 'Castle'. She revealed via Twitter that her voice was casted for the 8th season. Plaza tweeted, "@NathanFillion remember when I was the voice of your smart house and we fell in love?! #deletedscenes #castle." Lucy is a talking operating machine who helps Rick (Nathan Fillion) to move on with his life without Kate (Stana Katic).

Moreover as per Spoilers Guide latest report, the synopsis of 'Castle' Season 8 Episode 4 will revolve around the murder case of Rick's favorite author. The upcoming episode focuses on the search of finding out who the murderer is.
