Dell XPS 12 2-in1 Tablet Reportedly Available on November 5 in the US; 1st 4K Infinity Display Tablet

Dell is back with yet another promising and innovative product, the XPS 12. This 2-in-1 tablet is expected to perfect the laptop to tablet experience of each user. It is produced to easily turn between laptop to tablet with the use of one-handed transition magnetic connection.

The privately owned American multinational computer technology company is alleged to unveil its newest offering on November 5 in the United States. There are just a few details announced about the device by the company as of the moment. However, rumor has it that the XPS 12 2-in-1 tablet is inspired by Microsoft's Surface Pro 3, but it has way more to offer. It has a magnetic docking design with 4K Ultra HD display option.

The XPS 12 runs the Windows 10 platform. It sports a 2.5-inch full HD display that can be upgraded to a sharp 3840 by 2160 pixels resolution 4K touch screen and a pair of USB Type-C ports that are used for charging. Furthermore, it also features 16GB of RAM, NVIDIA GTX 960 GPU, Core i7 Processor, 84Whr battery, and 512GB SSD.

The screen of the XPS 12 2-in-1 tablet is attached through the powerful magnets and lifts from its base unit to immediately convert a laptop into a tablet. Additionally, it has no hinges or latches where the tablet connects to the base.

Connectivity-wise, this Dell's newest device boasts 4K Infinity Display, which is a first for a 2-in-1 device. It also includes 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.1. In addition, it has premium audio features to make it easier to interact with Cortana, the user's personal assistant.
