Sony will launch its newest Xperia Z5 series packed with amazing features and specs in Malaysia this coming October 29. Interested individuals can register themselves for an invite in the said event and participate in a lucky draw for an Xperia Z5, Z5 Compact, or Z5 Premium.
According to Stuff, those who want to participate in the raffle draw on the event need to visit the official Sony Mobile MY page to register for an invite before Oct 19.
Latinos Post stated on its article that the trio flagship phones made by Sony were launched earlier at the IFA 2015 in Berlin, Germany.
Furthermore, it cited the features of these Xperia Z5 series. The Z5 Premium comes with a 5.2-inch 1080p display with 806-ppi while the Z5 Compact has a 4.6-inch 720p display. The Xperia Z5 phones are equipped with a 23-megapixel camera, waterproof body and fingerprint scanner.
The three Xperia Z5 phones share almost the same features. All of them are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, with up to 32GB internal storage and a battery which can last for two days. But then the battery capacity also differs per phone as the Premium has a 3,430mAh battery, the Z5 a 2,900mAh and the Z5 Compact a 2,700mAh.
Another distinguising factor among the devices is their RAM with the Premium and Z5 sporting a 3GB RAM while the Z5 Compact only has 2GB.
The Z5 series also feature an integrated fingerprint sensor power button "intuitive unlock". Sony stated on its blog "The sensor power button means each device is personal, protected and easily unlockable with a simple pick up and press in one natural movement." All of the Xperia Z5 phones are also waterproof and dustproof.
As for the colors of Xperia Z5, Sony Mobile said the Z5 Premium is available in chrome, black and gold colors with a mirror effect on its back, giving users more options when it comes to the design of the phones.
In addition, The Sydney Morning Herald said on its report that the Z5 Compact will be available outright from Sony or JB Hi-Fi at a recommended retail price of $849. The Z5 will be available from the same stores for $999. And when the Z5 Premium launches it will cost $1199 outright in chrome, black or gold.
With these amazing features that Sony Xperia Z5 series carry, the Japanese tech giant is hoping that Sony Xperia Z5, Z5 Compact, and Z5 Premium will bring record breaking sales especially in Malaysia where it will be released next.
