Toshiba announced on October 11 that the company will release its new convertible laptop, Satellite Radius 12. The new laptop is said to come out in the market shelves on October 18. Satellite Radius 12 highlights high-technological features that can provide good impression to Ultrabook enthusiasts.
BetaNews noted Toshiba's statement regarding its new laptop that it will come with Windows 10 with 12.5 inches diagonal touchscreen display. It will also be supported by a native Ultra High Definition (3840 x 2160) resolution with 352 pixels per inch. Such display is calibrated and certified by Technicolor which includes Chrome Tune for Toshiba software. This feature enables users to choose the colour scheme on the display.
Related report added that Satellite Radius 12 will be available with high-brightness 350-nit screen for use outdoors and IPS technology. Toshiba's new product will be made up of Gorilla Glass. Such feature serves as prevention against any scratches and screen damage. It will also highlight Harman Kardon Speaker System which can provide great sound when watching movies and listening to songs.
In addition, Radius 12 will come with facial authentication through Windows Hello, sixth-generation Intel Core processor, 8 GB of RAM which is expandable for up to 256 GB or 512 GB, Tech Times noted. The new laptop will package the aforementioned features in 2.9 pounds with a 0.6-inch profile. On the other hand, the retail price of Satellite Radius 12's standard HD version will costs $999.99 and 4K Ultra Edition will costs $1,299.99 at Best Buy stores, BestBuy.com, Microsoft stores and through Toshiba's official online store.
Satellite Radius 12 can be considered as a contender over various brands like Lenovo, Yoga Pro 3, Microsoft Surface Book, or other high-end convertible or Ultrabook. The cost and the features are evidently saying that the new laptop can provide best possible experience among Ultrabook enthusiasts. For the mean time, enthusiasts have to wait until the 18 of October for the new product to be available.
