Meizu M2 Specs, Price: Budget Android Phone With 13-Megapixel Camera Released in India

Following the success of Meizu's M2 Note and MX5, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has revealed another flagship, the Meizu M2, in India. The newest amartphone of Meizu is said to be a smartphone that features great specs like its 13-megapixel camera for a modest price.

The Indian Express cited the features and specifications that Meizu M2 carries. This handset is reportedly powered by a MediaTek MT6735 processor with the graphics duty handled by Mali T720. The Meizu M2 has a 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage that is expandable up to 128GB through the microSD slot.

As for its camera, Meizu M2 is armored with a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel camera at the front for selfies and video chat. The smartphone is 4G LTE compatible and supports dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS with GLONASS, and Bluetooth 4.0 with low energy mode. This device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and is powered by a 2,500 mAh capacity battery.

IBTimes further added that Meizu M2 boasts a 5-inch screen with a 720 x 1280 pixels resolution, having a GFF full lamination technology over the display to minimize the reflection and the display quality. The unibody casing of Meizu M2 is made of polycarbonate material along with a magnesium frame namely mBack to offer a decent one-hand usability experience. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer claims that Meizu M2 is slimmer than its competitors.

Moreover, NDTC Gadgets stated on its article that the Meizu M2 is priced at Rs. 6,999. The newest flagship made by Meizu goes on sale on Snapdeal last October 12 and is available in white, blue, grey and pink color.

With the newest budget phone released by Meizu, the company is really hoping that Meizu M2 will bring record breaking sales. Most likely, the unveiling of M2 in the second largest market may help the Chinese smartphone manufacturer reach its goal on trade.
