EP Rob Thomas confirms that Aly Michalka officially returns in 'iZombie'. Thomas also stated that there will be no Peyton-Ravi loveteam that is going to happen in Season 2. On a different note, the official synopsis for episode 3 has been posted on site.
Peyton (Aly Michalka) is officially back in 'iZombie' Season 2. According to IB Times, executive producer Rob Thomas recently confirmed that Peyton will be back to resume her work. Peyton was working at the district attorney's office as an assistant and in the upcoming season, she will be working with the Utopium task force.
Moreover, showrunner Rob Thomas shared during a recent interview that Peyton and Ravi (Rahul Kohli) will face each other again. However, the executive producer revealed that they already made the decision that when Peyton comes back, the two won't fall into a relationship because they will be going on separate directions as reported by Collider.
On the side note, TV Guide posted the official synopsis for episode 3 which reads "Liv eats the brains of a recently murdered trophy wife who was pushed to her death by a hit man from her home's balcony. A now fashion-obsessed Liv and Det, Babineaux question suspects in their search for the original brains behind the homicide. Meanwhile, Liv and Ravi are surprised to learn that Peyton has returned to Seattle."
The executive producer revealed that the lead actress officially returns in the 2nd season of the show. Other than that, the EP also revealed that no loveteam will surface in the newest season. Also, the synopsis for the 3rd episode has been posted already.
