Rocksteady Games is pleased to announce the upcoming DLC for Batman Arkham Knight which features some exciting freebies; a rather early Christmas for the fans. The new game DLC contains new missions, new gamemodes, exclusive Batman suit, Batmobile, and Batman v. Superman. All these exclusives shall be accessed through the Arkham DLC pass for $40.00, the free contents being part of the holiday DLC bump up.
The new DLC features two new missions, namely: Flip-a-Coin and Catwoman's Revenge which are side stories focusing on Arkham characters outside the limelight. Additional contents to be watched out for in the upcoming November-December DLC is the Robin-themed and the Riddler-themed Batmobiles and an expanded mission which lumps up several missions featuring Killer Croc, Mr. Freeze, Mad Hatter, and Ra's Al Ghul, Yibada reports.
As Warner Bros. already began adding DLC achievements ahead of the October updates, such will also bring the PC version in parallel with the console version in Season Pass DLCs and Patch Content. Gear Nuke review says that some additional achievements include a Nightwing Story, Catwoman Story, and Batmobile DLC packs, while more shall be added before the patch's official release.
The most significant and most awaited of the DLCs, however, are the Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice versions of Batsuit and Batmobile. Warner Bros. said that they would have the Batmobile rolling this coming November, along with a Ben Affleck-debuted Batsuit, plus a 2008 Christian Bale Batsuit featured in The Dark Knight shall be available in December as well. iDigital Times points out that such DLC inclusions of the upcoming film is in line with its franchising trend which includes movie adaptations, as well as of the comic versions.
The newly announced lineup of extras and features included in the 2015 DLCs for Batman: Arkham Knight seems to be Warner Bros. and Rocksteady's manner of compensating the fans for their disappointment for the month of October there being no new modes or missions.
