Gearbox Studios and 2K Games will be conducting a closed beta testing for the new first-person shooter Battleborn. An open call for registration by the developers have officially been announced. Register now in order to participate in the beta testing session starting on October 29th.
Open call for beta testing registrations have been circling the gaming community, and for the new first-person shooter Battleborn, it will be a monumental event. The new first-person shooter with a MOBA twist will soon be handed out to the public for much-needed testing and optimization. The official announcement came last week in order to gather gamers to try out the game. The closed beta testing session will be tested on PS4, Xbox One and PC systems, and participants are tasked to make sure their systems are optimized for the event. The client file will take up between 4GB to 8GB of space depending on the intended participant's gaming platform.
For PC systems, recommended specs list via Gamespresso include a 64-bit Windows 7 system or later, a high-powered processor such as an Intel Core 2 Extreme CPU Q6850 or an AMD A8-3870k (Quad Core), 6GB RAM, 10GB HD space, 2GB VRAM, a high-performance video card such as a an AMD HD 7700 or a PhysX supported NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or better, and a DirectX 11 Compliant soundcard.
Battleborn's RSVP website requires participants to create a SHiFT account in order to participate, along with a non-disclosure agreement. The non-disclosure agreement will be signed off in order to prevent unwanted capture of gameplay footage, livestreaming, image posting, or publicly discussing techincal aspects of the game over the internet.
Gearbox Studios and 2K Games will also be holding an open beta testing prior to the official Battleborn launch. Battleborn is scheduled to roll out on Feburary 9, 2016 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One systems.
