Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Update: Game Contains A Far More Dangerous World; Jensen Will Redeem Himself, Tells Game Designer

Game Designer Eidos Montreal talks about Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, a cyberpunk-themed role playing game, which contains a far more dangerous world than Human Revolution. Protagonist Adam Jensen will redeem himself in this franchise of Deus Ex series.

Game Ranx cited Eidos Montreal designer Antoine Thisdale who discussed about Deus Ex: Mankind Divided saying the game contains far more dangerous world than in Human Revolution that is why Protagonist Adam Jensen needs more powerful augments as the world of Mankind Divided has ran into anarchy.

Thisdale said "It takes place roughly two years after Human Revolution. The world has gone completely insane crazy over the aug incidents. At the end of Human Revolution, there's a big aug incident where people go crazy and, because they are augmented, they start killing people, killing themselves, and it's really bad. So two years later, everybody is scared of augmentations."

He continued that as the world enters the mechanical apartheid part of the story, people are segregated to augmented and not augmented. This force people to have a license, different passport and be clearly identifies as augmented.

Executive Narrative Director Mary DeMarle, via Examiner, wanted that Jensen will find his purpose in the game. In Mankind Divided, Jensen joined a special task force fighting terrorism.

DeMerle was quoted saying:

"What Jensen discovers in the aftermath of Human Revolution is that life isn't that simple. "At the beginning of the game, he basically realizes that he tried to save the world and he couldn't. He comes out of that thinking. His journey becomes one of how do I re-establish my own self in this? How do I become something that can actually right the world again?"

It was recalled that DeMerle also discussed that the game will not have a multiple endings. She explained that the player should find out how the ending will be.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, a cyberpunk-themed role playing game is scheduled for release on February, 2016 on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.
