Mojang has just recently confirmed that they are releasing a Halloween Mash-up Pack for all console versions of "Minecraft" with the help of 4J Studios. Apart from the spooky treat, the Swedish video game developer is also set to unveil a new snapshot 15w43a to the game.
According to Just Push Start, both Mojang and 4J Studios are rolling out the Halloween Mash-up Pack for all consoles of "Minecraft." This pack will reportedly introduce a whopping 43 skins, an eerie texture pack and ghostly music. The said skins are believe to include Bride of Frankenstein, Wicked Witch, Grim Reaper, Tree Face, Mad Doctor, Swamp Monster and, of course, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
The Gospel Herald also reported that most of the skins can be downloaded for free once it becomes available come October 23. All of the console versions of "Minecraft," including PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, will reportedly acquire the Halloween Mash-up Pack for US$3.99.
As for gamers who are playing either the Windows 10 Beta Edition or mobile Pocket Edition, they need not to worry. Mojang reportedly assured that they will be getting the Halloween treat as well, although reports didn't provide specific details.
Meanwhile, as reported by International Business Times, Mojang will also be introducing a new snapshot 15w43a to "Minecraft." The newest snapshot reportedly has a numerous new features and bug fixes. In addition, a new structure in the world and a new loot table concept are said to be designed in order to change the loot inside random chests and/or mob drops. Furthermore, Mojang has reportedly optimized the debug menu and unveiled minor bug fixes.
Reports claim that the tracking continues for fans that are testing out the snapshot, while the developer suggests they backup words or run the snapshot in a different folder. Doing so reportedly avoids corrupting the world, which is always a possibility when exploring snapshots.
It seems fans are up for some Halloween treats from Mojang's new Mash-up Pack. "Minecraft" is definitely going to be on a different level from thereon.
