Activision has reportedly released a new "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" gameplay trailer, which offers a sneak peek to The Giant bonus map. In addition, reports say that the game's DLC Season Pass will relive the chaos Treyarch's classics.
According to VG247, the trailer that the video game publisher Activision released for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" showcases the pre-order bonus map The Giant, which is a re-imagining of Der Riese that continues the Origins story of characters Dempsey, Nikolai, Ritchofen and Takeo. It is also believed to contain the weapon-upgrading Pack-a-Punch Machine, Teleporters, and Hellhounds.
GameSpot, on the other hand, reported that further details about "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3's" DLC Season Pass have come to light. An Xbox listing reportedly revealed that the four map packs will be accompanied with, among others, re-imagined versions of "fan-favorite" maps from Treyarch's past "Call of Duty' games, including "World at War" and other "Black Ops" games.
In addition to multiplayer maps, fans can reportedly expect new Zombies content, speculated to take the form of additional chapters to "Call of Duty: Black Op 3's" celebrity-filled mode. Although the price point for the game's Season Pass was not announced, players should reportedly expect to pay $50 for it alone. Furthermore, gamers who choose to pre-order the game are believed to be given access to The Giant Zombies map, which is set on a World-War II era research facility.
As far as the Season Pass is concerned, PlayStationLifeStyle reported that it remains a mystery of whether or not the said pass extends to PlayStation 3. However, Xbox Store reportedly confirmed that the Xbox 360 version won't be getting the Season Pass. Nevertheless, if it doesn't really come to PS3, fans may still reportedly see map packs of its own.
The first of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3's" expansions is believed to be launched in 2016, while the game arrives across all platforms on November 6. However, as what reports claim, if fans want to experience once again Treyarch's classics, they better get the Season Pass.
