There's a whole lot of reason to play "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" now as the Pokemon Company recently announced the Scrappy Skirmish Online Competition. In addition, the game reportedly scored the BAFTA Kids Vote shortlist.
According to International Business Times, fans of Pokemon will be getting some new events this coming Halloween season. The Pokemon Company revealed the preparation for Scrappy Skirmish Online Competition intended for "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire." The new competition is believed to follow a format that was voted by fans, while the selected theme is to have only an underdog Pokemon in combat.
The said competition will require a team that will only feature Pokemons not included in the Double Battle Online Competition, as announced by Pokemon Global Link. For the event particularly, reports suggest that all of the Double Battles are only those that will be played in "Polemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire."
The Dusknoir Descends event will also reportedly revolve around "Pokemon Shuffle" and will be ending come October 26. This event, as what reports mentioned, challenges players to defeat and conquer the Dusknoir using 20 moves. Successful players can reportedly execute the Last-Ditch Effort skill when it is used in a puzzle. The challenge is said to be available for both "Pokemon Shuffle" and the mobile counterpart.
In related news, "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" proved to be a huge success in the franchise. Nintendo Insider reported that the British Academy of Film and Television arts has unveiled that "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" made it to the the shortlist of games for this year's BAFTA Kids Vote, the only category voted for and by children. Alongside Pokemon are "Skylanders Trap Team," "Bin Weevils," "Crossy Roady," "Disney Infinity 2.0 Edition," "FIFA 15," "Just Dance 2015," "LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham," "Minecraft," and "World of Warriors."
Considering the reports, it hints how promising "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire is." And as for the Scrappy Skirmish Online Competition, interested fans only have until November 5 to register.
