'Naruto Gaiden' Kakashi manga is scheduled for release on November 3, 2015. Creator Masashi Kishimoto is also open to the possibility of creating more Naruto stories to add to the franchise.

According to the Anime News Network, the new Naruto Gaiden Kakashi manga will be out for release by November 3 and will include an exclusive art book. Viz Media LLC will distribute the new material in North America. The manga novel will center on the adventures of Kakashi Hatake and how he will come to procure his sharingan.

'Kakashi Gaiden' literally means 'Kakashi side story' but it is also translated as 'The Kakashi Side Story: A Boy's Life on the Battlefield'. It is considered as some kind of interval series between Parts I and II of Masashi Kishimoto's manga. It was also adapted in the anime version as an original story arc.

Kakashi Hatake is a key character in the Naruto series. He is a shinobi of the Konohagakure's Hatake clan and is noted to be one of the strongest warriors Konoha ever produced. He possesses very powerful chakra, is quite skilled in taijutsu, genjutsu and ninjutsu.

The full-color art book that comes with the new manga is called 'Uzumaki Naruto: Illustrations'. It features exclusive work by Kishimoto himself. The 'Kakashi Gaiden' manga will be sold for $10.99 in the United States and $12.99 in Canada.

Another article from iDigital Times reported that visitors of the recent New York Comic Con in Manhattan were treated to a special pre-selling ahead of the scheduled November date.

The official synopsis stated, "In NARUTO: KAKASHI'S STORY, a year has passed since the Fourth Great Ninja War, and Kakashi's appointment to Hokage looms. But first he heads to the Land of Waves for a dangerous mission rescuing hostages from a top secret airship. There he confronts a ninja whose heart is frozen by tragedy. Having lost both his friend's eye and his greatest abilities, can Kakashi really protect anyone? What is the true meaning of the will of fire gained in the distant heavens? Kakashi finds these answers and more as he opens the door to a new ninja era."

Meanwhile, Kishimoto admitted he was open to the idea of creating more stories in the series but didn't elaborate further. According to Movie News Guide, he said that he was not working on any Naruto material as of the present but there are "infinite possibilities" should he decide to pursue it.

'Naruto Gaiden' Kakashi manga novel is scheduled to be released on November 3 in North America. The manga is preceded by the 'Sasuke Recovery Mission' and followed by 'Kazekage Rescue Mission'.
