Fans have been waiting to get hold of "Tom Clancy's The Division," and now, that long wait is finally at its end. The highly-anticipated open world third-person shooter role-playing game is slated to hit shelves come March 8, 2016. Adding to the hype, the game is now available for pre-order, which guarantees a closed beta access and Hazmat Gear Set DLC pack.
The release date for "Tom Clancy's The Division" has since been pushed back a lot of times, leaving gamers wondering whether or not the game will be released at all. In fact, many speculated that it should arrive this year. But, as reported by Gameranx, it should hit the stores on March 8, 2016 and will retail at $60. Also, players can purchase the game's Gold Edition for $100.
In addition, Gamezone reported that "Tom Clancy's The Division" for PC is now available for pre-order on Steam. And if a player do purchase it via Steam, it is said that they need to have a Uplay account in order to play. Interestingly enough, unlike Uplay Shop page, the Steam Store page did not specify the actual March 8, 2016 release date; rather, it only shows that March 2016 will be the release of the forthcoming game. Furthermore, if players choose to pre-order "Tom Clancy's The Division on either Uplay or Steam, the game is believed to include a closed beta access as well as the Hazmat Gear Set DLC Pack.
In related news, Ecumenical News pointed out that the engine used by the developer for the game handles Screen Space Reflection quite well, while the in-game explosions are decent enough to be praised. In addition, the environment is pretty static in nature, despite having less destructible in-game objects.
"Tom Clancy's The Division" will knock the doors of PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on March 8, 2016. And for gamers who want to acquire that nasty Hazmat Gear Set, pre-ordering the game is a must.
